Container, break-bulk or RoRo — whichever is cheaper for your unit.
Flatbeds and skeletons are shipped as CKD: the unit is cut into sections that fit a 40HQ, with assembly drawings and fasteners in the crate. Two units fit in one 40HQ for most flatbed models.
This is the cheapest option per unit and the most common for African and South American destinations.
Complete lowbeds and tankers are usually shipped break-bulk or RoRo, because cutting them up costs more than the freight saved.
