The U-shape body is the workhorse of aggregate and coal hauling. A curved shell has no flat side to buckle, so it takes a bucket load dropped from height and still discharges cleanly when the ram lifts.
The shell is pressed from HG785 high-strength steel in one piece — fewer welds than a folded body, and the round bottom lets wet sand and clay slide out without a vibrator. Bodies are built 25 to 50 m³ on 3, 4 and 5 axle chassis.
